Canada Cup Status:

This event is not officially a Canada Cup, but expect a very high quality event nonetheless.

Terrain Description:

Low density trail network set among intricate contours, and cliffs ranging from 1m to 25m in height.  Generally open white forest with patches of thicker ferns in wetter areas, and very thick vegetation under powerline right of ways.

The Map:

Scale:  Depends on class.  Mapped at a well-generalized 1:15000, your race map will be a strict enlargement to your class’s scale (see table below).

Contours:  5m

Created in 2017-2018 by David Bakker.  The map is fully compliant with ISOM2017 standards, including minimum feature height for boulders.

Location:

From Revelstoke travel South on Highway 23 for approximately 10 minutes.  You will go past the model map parking.  Parking is in a large lot at the Revelstoke Nordic Ski club.  The arena/finish and start are located an 800m walk north from the parking lot along a trail.  We may have access to the ski lodge next to the parking lot, stay tuned for that info.
